New Covenant
Fellowship Ministries of Green Pond was birthed into
the spirit of Apostle Kenneth B. White, Sr. upon receiving
revelation from God concerning the Kingdom of God.
The Ministry unfolded in his spirit for the Green
Pond area. God compelled him to lead his children
from out of darkness into the Kingdom of God. “To
open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light,
and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may
receive forgiveness of sins.” Acts 26:18
After praying
and seeking the Lord, His wife was in agreement and
God commissioned them to do this tremendous work.
On January
2, 1997, God spoke very clearly; he said, “Son, I
am calling you to go to those who are hurting, abused,
battered, and spiritually bound.” “Deliver them from
the kingdom of darkness and lead them into the kingdom
of light through the transforming power of my word.
“Tell them to Seek first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness and all these things shall be added
into them.” Matthew 6:33 One week later, God sent
five hurting people to their home nightly to be ministered
to. Apostle White and Prophetess White were led to
begin the ministry by teaching a salvation class weekly.
On January 8, 1997, the first Salvation Class was
taught in their home. These classes were such a blessing;
Apostle White started teaching every Thursday evening.
A ministry had unfolded right in the 
White’s home.
The first official service with twelve people was
March 2, 1997 at the Green Pond Elderly Center. Attendance
continued to increase and services returned to the
White’s home because the Elderly Center was no longer
available. On April 2, 1997, Apostle White obtained
permission to use Ivenia Brown Elementary School for
a season. People started coming from everywhere. New
Covenant Fellowship Ministries was being manifested!
When the season ended for the use of the school, Pastor
Alfred and Co-Pastor Cicely Givens then permitted
the church to use Baal Perazim Plantation. On July
18, 1999, Apostle White and Prophetess White became
members of The International Covenant Ministry “Covenant
Affiliation” founder, Dr. Creflo A. Dollar. On September
26, 1999, New Covenant Fellowship Ministries dedicated
its church building to our father God, Jesus his son,
and the Holy Spirit. That year God bestowed great
spiritual gifts on the saints for their humbleness
and obedience to him and Apostle White. Apostle White’s
anointed teaching has edified the Body of Christ.
In our WAR ROOM ministry classes, Apostle White promotes
discipleship; continually challenging all ministers
to become the word.
God has
given Apostle White a Gideon’s army to accomplish
supernatural feats with small numbers. It is only
God’s glory that is responsible for all victories.
Apostle and Prophetess White witness the blessings
manifested through the Word of God, “Now my eyes shall
be open and my ears attentive unto the prayer that
is made in this place. Now I have chosen and sanctified
this house that my name may be there forever and my
eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.” 2 Chronicles
7:15-16; Jesus is the chief corner stone of New Covenant
Fellowship Ministries; all the ministries are birth
through Intercessory Prayer. Diligent, hard-working,
Spirit-filled people make the differences in this
ministry. God has birth forth many in house and out
house ministries. In House Ministries include: After
School, Audio/Tape, Benevolence, Birthday, Bookstore,
Christian Education, Custodian, Dance, Drum, Finance,
Food Service, Health & Fitness, Intercessory Prayer,
Love Marriage/Singles, Men, Music, New Coverts, Out
Reach, Pastor’s Aide, Praise Team/Mass Choir, Sunday
School, Transportation, Ushers. Out of House Ministries
include: New Covenant Fellowship Ministries of Atlanta,
Atlanta Georgia; Pastor Nevelyn Thomas, Pastor and
Co-Pastor Walter Thomas, Co-Pastor and New Covenant
Fellowship Ministries of Beaufort; Beaufort, South
Carolina; Pastor Alfred Givens, Pastor and Co-Pastor
Cicely Givens, Co-Pastor.
New Covenant
Fellowship Ministries of Green Pond is a non-denominational
church with a heavenly mandate to declare the strength
of God to this generation. The gospel of Jesus Christ
is the only hope for our world. We boldly declare
that Jesus still saves, delivers, and heals. New Covenant
Fellowship Ministries is uncompromisingly committed
to the gospel message of the Bible. We believe Jesus
Christ is Lord and the only way to salvation.
As Pastor,
Apostle White is dedicated to seek God’s face consistently,
that he may feed the flock with knowledge and revelation
from Heaven.
As the
Church, we dedicate ourselves to do and be about our
Father’s business in living a life worthy to be called
Christians; witnessing to others of the gospel, extending
our hand to the community to love and compassion,
and being a light that not only shines but directs
others to Christ.
As Part
of the Body of Christ, we discipline ourselves NEVER
to shame the name of Christ, but rather to bring honor
and glory to his name.
Our Vision
Statement plainly states, We are committed to reaching
God’s hurting, abused, battered, and spiritually bound
people, who are in the kingdom of darkness and lead
them into the kingdom of light. Through the transforming
power of God’s word. Ultimately we will be making
a mark that cannot be erased. Scriptures, Matthew
6:33, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness and all these things shall be added
unto you.” II Timothy 2:15, Study to show yourself
approved into God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
Fruitfulness
is a major theme of New Covenant Fellowship. We are
called by Christ to bear fruit. “You did not choose
me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear
fruit -- fruit that will last” John 15:8
God is
doing a new thing in Apostle Kenneth B. White, Sr.,
his wife, Prophetess Ida V. White, the Pastors, Elders,
Ministers, HELPS Ministry, Members, and Youth and
it is marvelous in our eyes.
