BASIS:
“And God hath set
some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly
teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, HELPS, governments,
diversities of tongues.
” DEFINITION: The Ministry
of Helps at New Covenant Fellowship Ministries is the consolidation
of various groups of Born-Again, Spirit-filled individuals, forming
a nucleus surrounding the Pastor and his assistants to aid them in
meeting the needs of people who participate in the worship, study
and social activities of New Covenant Fellowship Ministries.
PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:
The purpose and function of the Helps Ministries is threefold:
To assist the Pastor in
carrying out his God-given vision in spreading the Gospel, including
eternal salvation, divine healing and health, the full operation of
the gifts of the Spirit, spiritual and earthly prosperity, as well
as a life of holiness.
To work, share and participate
together with the Pastor as one body “For the perfecting of the saints,
for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ:
till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of
the Son, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the
fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12)
To support the Pastor’s
vision by setting a good example to those in and outside the membership
of New Covenant Fellowship Ministries. Through consistent display
of spiritual strengths, moral fortitude, and personal integrity.
