Prophetess Ida V. White was born January 25, 1963 in Green Pond, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the late Rev. Ned I. Edwards, Sr. and the late Helen P. Edwards. She is the wife of Apostle Kenneth B. White, Sr. and the mother of Jessica, Nicole, Diamond, Kenneth, Jr., and Jonathan. She is also the proud grandmother of one grandson, Emmanuel. Her siblings of whom she is the youngest daughter are Elder Addie, Bro. Jeremiah, Rev. Nathaniel, Bro. Freemond, Bro. Ned Edwards, Jr., Min. Reginald, and Min. Mahalia.

Prophetess White attended Ivenia Brown Elementary School in Green Pond and graduated from Walterboro High School, Walterboro, South Carolina. She is a graduate of Claflin College, Orangeburg, South Carolina continuing with postgraduate studies at Cambridge University in Boston, Massachusetts which earned her a Masters in Education. She is currently employed as a Language Arts teacher at Whale Branch Middle School, Beaufort, South Carolina.

She received Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12 years old. In 1985, God did a new thing; she rededicated herself to Jesus and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

She is the Co-Pastor of New Covenant Fellowship Ministries of Green Pond. A woman of destiny who walks uprightly before God, seeking the face of God and acknowledging him in all her ways. She is always willing to assist, teach, lead and minister God’s Word to anyone in need with signs and wonders following. Prophetess White’s Message: Having a solid foundation, rooted in Jesus Christ and his word is the key to spirituality in the Kingdom of God. Rather than be defensive with the attacks of Satan, be equipped to become offensive enough to fire him up through the use of our weapons of warfare, which are fired up by the Holy Spirit. Once this is in place, we shall be endued with “Fresh Wind” and “Fresh Fire:” from on high and shall be able to thank the father for the “Holy Fire,” that he has put within us.

Prophetess White feels that she has a definite calling to minister to women. “I believe that God has birthed a women’s ministry for hurting women. She says, “They have been put down so long.” “My message to them is If God has called you, he will equip you for the journey.” “Go forth and glow; come from behind the curtain. You have been hiding long enough. It’s time now to go forth in the kingdom of God - binding the spirit of fear and loosing the spirit of love in the mighty name of Jesus.” A powerful part of her ministry is to love God and to love God’s people.

Prophetess White enjoys being with her husband, children, family, shopping, singing, traveling, teaching, reading, “quiet time,” prayer time, witnessing, helping and meeting people.
